Adriano B. Carlomagno is a consultant with HMC with extensive experience in Holistic Manufacturing™, maintenance improvement, engineering optimization and training. His background includes a broad range of management and engineering experience in diverse manufacturing environments in Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia.
Adriano’s main focus is on improving productivity & quality and reducing waste in manufacturing processs by using HolisticManufacturing™tools to minimize variability. These transformation processes are twofold, incorporating both the implementation of new procedures and the development of ownership among the manufacturing team. Adriano works side-by-side with clients, influencing a change in attitudes and behaviors to achieve well-aligned teams focused on continuous improvement.
Results include significant improvements in productivity & waste reduction, often reaching World Class standards. And the integration of factory staff in implementing behaviour-changing processes ensures that these results are sustainable in time. Adriano has been an integral part of Holistic Manufacturing™ project teams in Chile Tabacos, Bigott Venezuela, BAT Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Australia, Italy, Singapore, Poland, Germany, Switzerland and recently completed three very successful HMC projects for BAT Russia.
Before joining HMC, Adriano was the Manager of Manufacturing Support at Nobleza-Piccardo in Argentina. He was responsible for coordinating a staff of 30 to meet the maintenance, cleaning, new equipment installation & modification and continuous improvement needs of the Secondary Manufacturing plant.
As Maintenance Engineer at Ford Argentina, Adriano was responsible for results-oriented production support, implementation of ISO 9000, implementation of TPM and for managing the Department of Maintenance.
Adriano received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed courses in Robotics at FANUC Robotics and Industrial Safety at Wasau Companies. He is native in Spanish and fluent in English. Adriano is currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
