
Gerald I. Kendall
is an HMC consultant working in the areas
of Theory of Constraints, supply chain improvement, strategic planning,
production logistics, organization and training, negotiating skills,
union relationships, finance and measurements and market development.
His background includes extensive experience as a systems, sales, marketing,
and operations executive with an international focus. Gerald has specialized
in helping large multi-national firms as well as government and not-for-profit
organizations, manage significant organizational change issues.
Recent clients include major consumer products companies
(Malaysia, Bangladesh and USA), leading health insurance companies,
primary metals companies, manufacturers in the nuclear energy field,
a major international distributor in the wireless communications industry,
manufacturers in the integrated circuit industry, advanced air force
technology, a web-based travel industry giant, power distribution companies
and many others.
Within the Holistic
Manufacturing philosophy, he has focused on project management,
portfolio management and supply chain improvement efforts. He has led
such efforts in Malaysia and Bangladesh and has conducted workshops
in the USA.
Work in the tobacco industry includes project work,
workshops and diagnostics in Brown & Williamson USA and British
American Tobacco in Malaysia and Bangladesh.
Gerald received his BComm as a silver medal winner
from McGill University. He is also certified as a Project Management
Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. Gerald is the
author of Advanced Project Portfolio Management
and the PMO and Securing the Future: Strategies
for Exponential Growth Using the Theory of Constraints. He is
also a contributing author to Dr. Harold Kerzner's book, Project
Management, A System's Approach, 8th edition. He is currently
based in Florida, USA.
