Roberto Vitolo has a background and qualifications that show a broad range of skills in Consultancy, Sales and Marketing. He has more than seventeen years of experience in Transformation Management, Strategic Planning, Distribution Channels and Marketing & Sales related activities in the Information Technology Industry.
Recently, Roberto has managed Consulting projects for HMC in the areas of Management, Operations Improvement, Strategy, Human Resources and Training. As Project Manager in manufacturing facilities in Germany, Russia and Poland, he was responsable for the implementation of process improvements that resulted in increased productivity and substantial cost savings. He is also a specialist in the HDS Manufacturing Software developed by HMC.
Before joing HMC, Roberto worked for IBM and held a number or managerial positions during his 17-year tenure, including: Manager of Sales and Customer Satisfaction for the Personal Systems Group; Manager of Business Partner Relations for the Channel Operations Division; and Product Manager for the Networking Hardware Division. His most recent position at IBM was in Sales Management for Personal Computing Products. He was responsible for management, consolidation and long-term business relationship development with corporate customers. He closed contracts of over $ 9,000,000 annually.
Roberto holds an MBA from the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela and a BS in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela. He is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in Italian and English. Roberto is currently based in Italy.
